Stayed here on the way to Cincinnati from Norfolk. Booked on priceline for around $60 for the night. Was put in room that smelled mildewed and smokey even though the hotel claims to be non-smoking. The hall ways are very noisy at night as there are a lot of people staying at this hotel since it is so cheap. The hotel is worn. Very few extras come with this hotel - there are no vending machines in the hotel so you're forced to buy drinks and snacks from the front desk. The water was either too hot or too cold. Perhaps they just treat their priceline customers very bad. Whatever you do, do not stay in room 101. It is absolutely terrible. Stick with Hiltons as Marriott's tend to be older.

We stayed here one night on our way from Ohio to Virginia and really loved the place. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was pretty good and the room was very clean and comfortable. It is relatively more expensive but is well worth the price. If you need a small kitchen for your stay, definitely check this place out.

My family stayed here while we were attending a WV Power baseball game. The hotel was fantastic. We had a 1 bedroom suite and had requested a rollaway bed. When we arrived the rollaway bed was already in our room. The room was very clean and well equipped. When we return to see another WV Power game we will stay here again.

We visited this property the weekend before our daughter was to have surgery, and wanted our 6 year old to have a little fun before being laid up for several weeks. We had checked reviews, talked to staff and researched before going to priceline.com. we had originally wanted to stay at a 3 star so that our daughter could swim at an indoor pool, but found that our bid did not go through. However, with that in mind, we were still thrilled with our accomodations. Smoke-free Marriott properties are becoming fast favorites in our family. Staff kind and helpful. Upon check in we were offered ticket to the local kids science museum. Wish we had known as we had just came from there! Directions provided for our trip to the mall as well as the grocery store. Front desk assigned us to a studio with gas fireplace that totally tickled our daughter. So nice,as the young lady at the desk was aware of why we were visiting. We found the room very, very clean, spacious and comfy. Pull our couch was actually not too bad, and as an adult, I would have slept on it if need be. Our daughter loved falling asleep by the fire! Our bed was perfectly restful.
we loved having the kitchette-though it didn't have an oven (we had to compromise with our baked garlic bread, and made sort of grilled garlic bread, lol!) and I am hoping they take our suggestion and add a small cutting board. The popcorn and in room beverage service was nice.
Breakfast was more than ample, but watch your tiiming. The atttendants work hard, but are limited in what they can provide to large mass crowds....early it was fully stocked and peaceful, later it was a mad house! Eventually things were refilled, but those poor ladies ran their hineys off to do so....all with a smile. The residence offers breakfast as you are....jammies even, but I wish they would stress the need for shoes----ewww, several out- of-staters (I know, because They were loud enough for everyone to hear their conversations) came to breakfast with bare feet. Yuck! Several adults and many children arrived and ate shoeless--we lost our appetite and left. This may be WV, but it wasn' the natives acting like a bunch of hillbillies!
This hotel provided all you need and more for a very fair price, we will stay again!

Very family friendly all suite hotel. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We only stayed for one night on our way to Washington DC. The only downfall was the tv was between the bed and the sleeper sofa. You could turn it to watch it on one or the other but was difficult to watch from both areas. Can't really complain since we only paid $50.00 on Priceline!
