I took my family to Pies and Pints for dinner and found that the menu had some great choices. We had a classic pizza, wings and salads. The beer selection was awesome and tried a few different ones. The pizza was vey tasty, the wings were spot-on and the salads more than enough. The wait staff was excellent and knowledgeable of specifics of the menu and beer types. Nice and comfortable atmosphere. It deserves it's ranking as top restaurant and I highly recommend giving them a try.

Our party of five dined at Pies and Pints. We found the food, service and atmosphere all to be outstanding. Only complaint was we had to wait a while to be seated, but no big deal. They told us it would be an hour and a half wait, but it was only about half an hour. Pizza and salad were very good, nice cold beer, good iced tea, warm and friendly young staff.

You won't go wrong here!

Enjoy!

We visited on a Monday, so maybe that is why we had no wait time. Staff is friendly, the establishment is clean, and the food is excellent. There is a huge variety of quality beers that the staff as one other reviewer stated, are quite knowledgeable about. What is available on tap may vary. The location is in a more historic quaint area of Charleston.

The young staff goes out of its way to make this place a fun and lively place to eat. I found the server extremely knowledgeable about the beers and the appetizers, and was enthusiastic about matching the right beer to the needs of the diner. This place is certainly jumping on a Monday night, when the rest of the street appeared abandoned by its residents after work hours. This is not the place for a romantic rendezvous, but someplace where one can enjoy good food, good beer and good prices all in one fun-filled space.

25 minute wait on an early Wednesday evening, and there's a reason. Ignore the chain restaurants between the Marriott hotel and Capital Street, this is where you want to spend a casual evening. The chicken Gouda pizza is an excellent choice. The small pie will easily feed two. Craft beers, attentive and courteous staff, postcard setting in a stroll-friendly, historic
environment.
