Don't let the outside appearance dissuade you from visiting. Curious mix of deli in front and fine dining in back. Dinner started with Spanikopita dip, pita chips and smoked tomato relish and onion rings. Great! Salmon, crab stuffed tilapia and pappardelle. All among the best we've had. But the fish was ala cart, as listed on the menu. Potato sides are $5.00 and vegetables $5-8. Based on the main courses we had I expect the sides would be worth it. The other reviews don't reflect the high prices of a full meal.

a small hidden gem in an upscale strip mall, who would have known, mixed drinks, coffees, baked goods, and the food just right.

we had a vegetarian lasagna, one of the best Rubin's ever, a salmon sandwich and a gingerbread cookie wonderfully spicy and chewy.

this place is not to be missed

We had breakfast a couple of weeks ago and absolutely fell in love with the cafe, the neighborhood, and the food. You will be well rewarded to wind your way up the hill because everything the other reviewers have written is absolutely true.

This was our first visit to Charleston, West Virginia. We checked out reviews on Trip Advisor. Let's just say this was a great find. We were very impressed with the quality of the food and the presentation. Our server was friendly and helpful. We especially liked the fact that we were not rushed. Don't let the name "Market" scare you away. It is not a market; rather a unique culinary experience. We are not Charleston residents, but if we were, this would definitely be one of our favorite restaurants. Bon Appetit !

The food and menu are amazing. First class food from a creative chef. I really think it is the best place to take a date in Charleston.
