Description: Charleston's authentic farm-to-table made-from-scratch modern comfort food restaurant. With a legion of chefs who caringly practice the art of food, BgK offers delicious brunch, dinner, and desserts for hungry vegetarians, meat connoisseurs, and everyone in-between. In the circa 1920 building with pressed tin ceilings and exposed architecture, Bluegrass also serves as a gallery for local artists. In the Tap room there's live original acoustic music most nights, with finely crafted cocktails, a curated wine list & a bounty of beers. Close to West Virginia's beautiful capitol grounds the family-owned and operated Bluegrass Kitchen has been featured in The New York Times and Wall Street Journal as well as Bon Appetit, Garden & Gun, Taste of the South magazines and many more.

My wife and I had lunch here last week and enjoyed it. It's a somewhat pricy meal but prepare well and tasted good. They use local produce which is cool.

Nice location. I should have ordered 2 orders. Portion size was unacceptable and service was very slow, just a bit disorganized. But tasty food.

The food is usually very good and they do a lot of local sourcing. Weekend brunch is very good, but remember this is WV and on Sunday you can't get a drink (Bloody Mary) until after 1 pm. Service can be a little slow. Very good selection of beers on tap.

Full flavor taste is what you can expect from the menu!! One of our favorites is the asparagus grilled blue cheese sandwich! Wait till you try it! Beer cheese soup is another great flavor!! Oh I'm getting hungry just thinking about all their great dishes.

been here for 3 meals. 1 was good, the other 2 poor. Not a good average for the prices. the woman who runs this place has some issues. Bad vibes. Spoiled my dining experience. Wine was good and the servers tried really hard but no one cared that my food was not good. Way better to go to Soho's or Paterno's. this place is trendy but not very good.
