This hotel is fairly new at the time of this review July 2012 and is close to the exit from 9 making it easily accessed.
Rooms are "green" meaning that you are suppose to have to leave your room key in a holder on the side of the wall right by the door or the tv and lights will automatically turn off to save power, once it did and once it did not- of course we had to try it.
There was a small issue as to the location of my room ( I wanted at the end of the hallway and girl at desk put us right beside the elevator and then just 2 doors further down the hall- I refused to move after the second time) I found the mgr (Courtney) in the hallway and spoke with her. She was very sympathetic and offered to move my things herself and was apologetic re this 1 girl. She was super nice and I will visit again because of her. Her hotel was clean and I was impressed with her and her hotel. Thank you Courtney for your help!

Just returned from a trip where we stayed in several Hampton Inns. This one was by far the best.

Omg, our room was so beautiful and spacious. There is a long desk in the middle of the suite w with a chair on each side so 2 people can work at the same. I love the energy saving idea. The lights work only with your room key in the key holder at the door. Great staff, very friendly and comfortable bedding. They also leave a note on the headboard letting you know your duvet and sheets have been cleaned especially for you. Nice touch!!!

Thought we would try the new Hampton Inn rather than go back to the Holiday Inn which is our usual lodging.
Efficient check-in. Professional mannered employees efficiently checked us in. Not especially friendly, but that didn't matter. It was 100 degrees outside and we just wanted to get to a cool room. Great price on a suite, which is not really 2 rooms, but a very large room, divided by a build in desk containing drawers and great task lights. Very nicely decorated room. The bed was not comfortable as it was too hard and I'm used to sleeping on a firm Sterns & Foster. Breakfast was about as good as it gets with that type food (frozen egg omelets (somewhat dry) and super-rich creamy sausage gravy). Plenty of cold cereals along with hot oatmeal and make-your-own waffles.
We will go back as long as the price stays competitive with the Holiday Inn, Ranson. Some special rates (Gov't, for instance) are not honored at this Hampton Inn. I hope that changes, since Holiday Inn Express, Ranson always has Gov't rates available.
