Description: The Final Cut is a contemporary American steakhouse featuring hand selected USDA Mid-Western Prime Beef, corn-fed and naturally aged up to four weeks to ensure maximum flavor and texture. Each steak is hand cut to order, seasoned with kosher salt and tri color peppercorns, then broiled at 1600 degrees to create a thin charred crust that seals in the delicious natural beef juices.

We have eaten here a number of times for special occasions. Whether it is steak, fish, pork, or veal it is always perfect. Presentation is what you would expect in an up scale resturant. Wine selection is impressive. If you want something special to drink they will try to find it on the premises. We have had George as our waiter for the last three visits and he is knowledgeable, helpful, and always tries to make it your most memorable meal.

We've been to this restaurant a few times now and every time we go, it's just as great as the last time. We've NEVER had a poor meal here. I always get the lamb chops (one day I will try the steaks). And the asparagus is THE BEST asparagus I have had anywhere. They have their own garden that they grow most of the vegetables from. The desserts are great as well. I don't believe it's possible to have a bad meal at the Final Cut. Also ask for George as your server. We always request him because he is FANASTIC. Sorry to use "fantastic" so many times, but the Final Cut is great. You'll even forget you're in a casino in West Virginia. You may think you're in Miami or New York!

If you saved up for a nice night out on the town, this is the place. Plan on spending $50 to $70 per person but its worth every dollar. The pan seared tuna and crab appetizers are delectable. The steaks are huge and cooked to order with a nice char. Order one side to share, you can't go wrong with the asparagus and creamy mashed potatoes. If your celebrating a special occasion they give you a complimentary dessert. Just notify them upon reservations. Dont expect fast service, this is a nice sit down meal with beautiful ambience. What a wonderful meal.

If you are going to charge fancy, big city steakhouse prices -- which is fine -- you should have food and service that is on par with the restaurants in the class you're striving to achieve. That did not happen on our last visit.

Service was incredible slow. Leisurely is fine, but this was painfully slow. The manager did eventually come over to apologize and offer a free dessert. That was a nice gesture, but the kindness slowly evaporated why we waited another 20 minutes for the dessert. We would've just got the check and left, but we didn't see our waiter during that time either.

Food was hit-or-miss. The deviled duck eggs were surprisingly good. The steaks, however, were excessively charred and ashy. The inner temperature was correct, but the ashy flavor detracted from what were otherwise OK steaks.

Unlikely to return as the value and experience just isn't there for this restaurant at this time. Rowdy, underdressed casino customers getting wasted and yelling in the restaurant also didn't help the experience the night we visited.

We live just a few miles from the Final Cut but this was our first visit. The steak measured up to any I have had at Ruth's Chris or any other high end steak house. My wife had the Lamb and raved about it. Great decor with interesting displays of clothes worn in movies and worn at the Oscars. Pricey and worth every penny!
