Greats views and photo opportunities. The trails are not bad to walk and it is absolutely beautiful! If in the area, this is a must stop - especially if in need of relaxation and serenity!

.The overlook view is great, trails are rated correctly for seniors. the sculpture at the overlook area was very unique. Many trails to explore and do not forget the Henry Clay Furnace but it is a hike back to your car, as a senior,

The cliff overlook was scenic. The underlook trail was interesting. Raven's Run Trail also offered a scenic overlook. Rattlesnake Trail was our favorite. Scrambling amongst the rocks was a challenge, but doable. Rock City was also a unique area in the park.

Completely worth the drive off the highway to go here. I pulled in after a 5 mile hike and you drive a solid 2 miles into the woods. I was greeted by a snake crossing the road mountaus views and thick untouched forest. Driveall the way to the lookout at the end and there is aa small gift shop with a couple friendly locals running it.. Directly outside the gift shop you can walk to a very nice overlook area. I took a 3.8 mile hike to Raven Rock. 3.8 total miles and simply great views of the surrounds and white water rafters far far below. Totally changed my perception of West Virginia .

Loved the area, which was developed by the CCC in the 1930's, lots of stone and wood. Looking over Cooper's Rock, you could see 20 or 30 miles.
