“Great little shop!”

Great ice cream (even pumpkin!) and coffee drinks, and homemade cookies/goodies. Staff is super warm and friendly! Small photography and art pieces for sale (small prices). Warm and clean atmosphere. Very cute!

“Amazing coffee, delicious baked goods, ice cream too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

We were thrilled to find this hidden gem located off the main route( Rt. 522) through Berkeley Springs. It's so easy to get to though. Just turn at the light by Sheetz and continue up the hill. (Rt.9) The cute Cottage Cafe is on the right just a hop, skip and a jump from Sheetz. It is clean and uniquely furnished with a large TV inside, indoor seating, porch seating, and picnic tables in the yard. If you are passing through Berkeley and want a good cup of coffee and some ice cream for the kids, it's a perfect place to stop and relax. There is room for the kids to stretch their legs in the back at the picnic tables. The service is always wonderful and the owner makes you feel very welcome. We love to stop for coffee and a snack and the kids love all the ice cream choices. An added bonus, the foot bridge leads to a small park with tennis and basketball courts. The coffee here is amazing, as we are always in search of special coffees. The items are always fresh and delicious! You don't want to miss this little gem off the beaten path in Berkeley..
