“Old School ice cream parlor”
Reviewed July 29, 2012

A fun treat after walking the town. The staff were very nice and accomodating. Enjoy your cold treat as you look in the creek for the turtles...they are huge and not what we expected to find.

“Great Ice Cream”
Reviewed July 7, 2012

A great place for ice cream. There is more food but this is one of those places you go to if you love ice cream. And I do!

“A Tasty Oasis in Berkeley Springs”
Reviewed June 28, 2012

Berkeley Springs is a town founded on the refreshing mineral spring waters that flow from its mountains. Although dipping your toes in the water at Berkeley Springs State Park is rejuvenating on a summer day, stopping in at Creekside Creamery for an ice cream cone, shake, or sundae will give you an even greater boost.

The Creamery is only a few blocks away from the center of town, and the aqua building will be hard to miss when strolling down main street. When my wife and I entered, the owner, waitress, and a display case of Hershey's Premium ice cream greeted us. The owner was friendly and chatted with us while making peanut butter sauce from scratch (sadly we didn't try any). We ordered a double scoop of coconut almond chocolate chip ice cream on a waffle cone for $4.51. Both the name and the serving size of the ice cream were a mouthful. As we sat at a bistro set in the shade, we fell in love the the ice cream flavor and The Creamery. It was the perfect place to sit, relax, and indulge on a summer afternoon.

When leaving The Creamery, we noticed a small sign indicating that the restaurant and adjoining apartment are for sale. We hope that either the owners get enough business to persuade them to stay, or that someone buys The Creamery and keeps the standards high.

“On a hot day, what's better than ice cream?”
Reviewed May 29, 2012

The Creamery is just off the main street, along a creek and nice door to the Ice House Art center.

Nice selection of ice creams, milk shakes, and designer coffees, plus seating along the creek (enjoy watching the butterflies and dragon flies) as well as indoor seating and you drink your milk shake or lick your cone.
