We opened the door to the tasting room and a blast of noise hit us - the place was packed. Once were able to get a spot at the bar we figured out why... all but one of their wines were $15 or less, and several were under $10.

My favorite was the reisling which was on the sweet side but good to keep cold for friends who are just starting to drink/appreciate wine and haven't developed their palates yet.

We visited Hyatt Vineyards during the spring wine tasting. The wine was good, the buildings and grounds professional-looking, and the view was great. We were disappointed there were so many people (especially college kids - it was like spring break and everyone went to Hyatt), because we could hardly get around. I would go back, maybe not during the wine tasting weekend, and enjoy the place with fewer people.
