The cowiche conservancy group is doing an excellent job with this trail. It is easy to walk, gravel or hard packed dirt, lots of trees, stream following along the trail, lots of things for the kids to explore. Several bridges to cross. We enjoyed sitting on the bridge dangling our feet or throwing rocks into the water. For an authentic outdoor experience this can't be beat yet is is very easily accessible for everyone.
Only negative is that the parking area is know for having break-ins so don't' leave your valuables in your car. I haven't had a problem but that's what their newsletter says.
