We came here with a large group on the recommendation of a friend. The interior is warm and inviting, with a small bar area and an elegant/rustic vibe. The food and service were both outstanding, and the chef Bobby is awesome. So much energy and dedication to good food. Our server Gina was amazing also, everyone was very patient and friendly.
So, the food: to start we had the beef tartare with house made lavosh, which was TO DIE FOR, the Grand Marnier prawns,( which I recommend having with a glass of their viognier) the fig & proscuitto and the foie gras, which was a large, seared piece of tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Anohter couple had the mussels which smelled and looked beautiful.
For my entree, I had the seared Ahi and pork belly, which was one of the best dishes I've had in a while. Very delicate flavor pairings and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend it. My husband had the filet mignon which he says was fantastic.
The wine list has an extensive Washington/local selection, and the server Gina was very knowledgeable about wine, as was Matt the sommelier. There don't seem to be any "bad" places to sit in the restaurant, and they even have a large round table with a fire pit for groups.
This is a gem of a restaurant!
