I took one of my mother's best friends out for a treat from the retirement center. The staff was wonderfully accommodating with the wheelchair and the dinner and service were excellent. We started with some of their homemade chowder followed by crab and shrimp stuffed prawns for my "date" while I had the Parmesan crusted halibut. Both were excellent and my friend said the prawns were the best she had ever had - tender and not over cooked like you get so often. We decided to share dessert and ordered a banana split. While delicious it was not a "classic" version. While we didn't have it that night, I can recommend the Dynamite Shrimp appetizer - one of my favorites. They also sometimes have risotto specials which have always been good. Enjoy!
