Beautiful grounds great you as you drive up the entrance drive to this Victorian House Winery. You can choose your wine samples from a descriptive menu for $10 for four pours from the tasting bar. Your wine host will assist you in identifying the characteristics of the wine. The tasting room is very welcoming with overstuffed leather seating and a large fireplace glowing in the middle of the room. There is seating outside on the porch or patio area as well. You can order small plate appetizers to snack on with your glass of wine. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and it resembled a winery you would find in Napa Valley. Right across the street from Chateau St. Michelle.

“Nice wines”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2013

This is not a winery tour like Chateau Ste Michelle, but is building across the main road from there offering wine tastings only. The wines are nice and to my surprise my wife even joined their wine club so she definitely enjoyed it! It has a nice atmosphere with open fire places and a bright area to sit and enjoy the day.

“Don't skip Columbia Winery!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 20, 2013

We had a day to kill in Seattle so we rented a car for some wine tasting. Columbia Winery was our last stop and we were very thankful we didn't skip it! We had tasted Columbia wines before, but the selection in southern California is not great and we wanted to taste their smaller production wines. First impression: wide open. Unlike many other tasting rooms in the area, you don't run an obstacle course around all the random gifts they are trying to sell you. Just a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Beyond that, we were super-impressed by the staff! Jill assisted us and impressed us with her knowledge of the wines and also recognized that we were not from the area and gave us some great ideas for out-of-the-way Seattle hot spots. Great wines, great atmosphere, and great people. We should have come here first, not last!

Went here for a tasting after we did the tour at Chateau Michelle, across the street. Place was pretty packed. Their wines were good, but I'm not expert. The server loved the fact that they knew more about wine than we do. We were kinda annoyed with one of the guys attitude, but figured we'd let his superiority complex slide, as he’s still serving drinks at 40.

“We loved it for the flatbread pizza.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 24, 2013

The wine is just ok. We came from across the street (chateau st Michelle) where the wine is better. However, Columbia is more of a sit down place. Couches and a fireplace. Purchase cheese plates and flatbread pizza (which were delicious). We sat around here and munched away. Again, chateau is a better winery experience. They are across the street from one another.
