Not much can be added to what has already been said about this restaurant. Excellent food, prepared and presented well. Not your usual menu, with a good selection for vegetarians. A cozy, setting, that is friendly and good for a quiet dinner. It is certainly one of the best places that we have eaten at in the Methow Valley.

We were just at Arrowleaf Bistro, and not the first time either, last week. The menu was quite extensive, and wonderful, from the appetizers through the desserts. Four of us had four different appetizers which we shared- they were all wonderful and presented beautifully. In addition, we had four different entrees, all of which were excellent. We shared single dessert, since we were so full from eating all of the delicious courses before- and this was both "pretty" and tasty. Can;t wait to return on my next visit to Winthrop this summer.

Jon and Joann make miracles from locally sourced food cooked traditionally and sauced lightly with delicate flavors. It is plated beautifully and servings are generous without being too large. I especially recommend the warm spinach salad with warm local organic pears, pine nuts, and intensely-flavored glazed bacon chunks. The balsamic dressing has a bit of blue cheese in it, not overpowering.
The restaurant is converted from a private home and the dining room comprises the two front rooms. The decor is plain with local artwork on the walls.
The wine list is small and select.
Prices are extremely reasonable considering the quality. Going to Arrowleaf Bistro is a mainstay of our life in the Methow Valley.

Really great food...as good as you can get including most cities. Often I don't have high expectations of a restaurant which doubles the pleasure when it turns out to be really good. The Arrowleaf was one of those surprises.

We didn't expect to find food this good in what seemed like a small, out-of-the-way town. They emphasize locally-sourced food, prepared well, with attentive service and very reasonable prices. We enjoyed beet salad, organic pasta, and fresh salmon from the Columbia river, and a light desert of fresh blueberries drizzled with lime juice - just right! A wonderful treat after a long day of hiking and sightseeing in the amazing North Cascades.
