We live in Winthrop part time and the Arrowleaf Bistro is our go to place. The food is delicious, locally sourced when possible, and quite elegant for a small community. It is a family business that has to contend with the fluctuations of tourist season, but manages to stay consistent. The prices are on the higher end, but reasonable when the quality is factored in. We love having the Arrowleaf in our community!!

This place served one of the best meals I had ever had. It was such a shock as we didn't expect the food to be of such quality.

When we are visiting Winthrop, the Arrowleaf Bistro for dinner so perfectly hits the sweet spot between the elegant but very expensive Sun Mountain Lodge and the tourist fare in the rest of town that we usually eat there every night and try a different entre each of the evenings. When the weather is nice the outdoor patio provides a down home deck but with a nice view of the confluence of the Methow and Chewuch rivers.
The food is carefully and tastefully prepared and favors local producers. The wine list is not extensive but again favors Washington wines that are fairly priced for a nice accompaniment. We are disappointed that this is not the most highly rated restaurant on Trip Advisor for Winthrop because many people are missing out on an wonderful Methow valley experience. After we work up an appetite road biking the pass, hiking the meadows or rock climbing on Goat Wall, we go back time and time again for savory dinner and great bottle of Washington wine.

We decided to eat a nice meal one night while in Winthrop and lucked out and hit the Arrowleaf bistro on a night when it wasn't closed. The food was good but the service was less than desirable. The server was solicitous in asking how things were but not helpful when we remarked on not liking something. She seemed to simply be doing her job and put no more effort than necessary in making the meal memorable.

Very natural, very organic, supports the local land conservancy. Dinner was excellent.
