“Great little find at the public market”
Reviewed November 16, 2013 via mobile

Fantastic local and home made sausage, salami, and cheeses. The wood fire pizza was outstanding as well. Service was good but not in par with the final check total. The atmosphere was like eating in a good court at a mall but the food made up for it. I would go back in the future.

“Maybe another chance?”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

We stopped at Fire for lunch on a sunny, crisp fall day. We enjoyed sitting outside with several other tables of guests. I asked about gluten free options and the server suggested pizza. We decided to share the pizza and a caprese salad. The salad arrived, it was lovely, three slices of a very green (heirloom?) tomato with mozzarella, basil leaves and nice olive oil. It turned out not to be very ripe (had anyone tasted the tomato in the kitchen?). We mentioned it to the server and, much appreciated, the chef came out to discuss it with us. The pizza was fine, a pre-made gluten free crust with fresh toppings. I was surprised by the bill as there was a $3.00 additional charge because of the special crust. I the sever had not let me know about this in advance. All in all the food was fine, the location fun and people tried to help.
