“Old steel mill converted into a Public Market - very fun place”
Reviewed May 6, 2014

At the foot of Orondo Street, across the train tracks, is the huge sign of "Pybus Pblic Market", the sign much resembles Pikes Market in Seattle
Huge building with various quaint shops and places to eat. This is a definite must-see when visiting Wenatchee. Enjoy a bit to eat in a little cafe, then take a stroll along the Columbia River.

A nice place to stop on the walk of the riverside. Many shops hadn't opened yet, however, a young lady who makes bread cut some up and gave us a sample. Very nice indeed. The main farmer's market doesn't start till May but still a nice place to go to spend some time.

“Train in the way? How to reach Pybus Public Market or River Loop Trail”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

The main entrance to Pybus Public Market is down Orondo Ave. but occasionally trains park across the road and block that access. There are two alternatives.

North from city center, take 5th Street east to go under the train tracks. Take the scenic route by heading east toward the Columbia River. Look for the large spiral art and turn into the roundabout, then right/south along Riverfront Drive and which connects to a left turn onto S. Worthen Street. Pybus will be on the left.

The south bridge under the train tracks is located on Thurston Street. It is between the Link Transit Bus Station and the Columbia River. Take Thurston then north on Columbia OR Kittitas then south on Columbia around the Link Station. Turn east onto Thurston to drive under the bridge, then left/north on S. Worthen Ave. Pybus is about a block away on your right.

There is street parking and the main entrance accesses the south lot. The outside parking in front of the market is used for the Farmer's Market on Saturdays until at least 1pm. When the market is super busy there are parking attendants to help organize the search. There is parking around the other side between the market and the river that is hidden from the main road. The gravel parking area just north of the Market is usually wide open so a good choice on busier days. It would be a great place for large vehicles as it would usually be simpler for turning around.

Walking is easy from town. The walking bridge heads east next to 1st Street between the Convention Center and the Owl. After crossing the bridge turn right/south and it's about a long city block to Pybus. (Check out the sculpture garden along the Loop Trail at the foot of the bridge while you are there!)

“Best venue in Wenatchee!”
Reviewed November 25, 2013 via mobile

No matter what time of day or week or year there's always a reason to visit this premier new venue in Wenatchee. Shop local foods market, patronize a variety of unique one of a kind vendors, learn about local history, visit with family/friends over coffee/wine/cheese/gellato/restaurant fare, explore the Riverfront trail/park, listen to local musicians/performers, rent a bike to take a spin along the river and learn a thing or two at Pybus University. It is a community icon and a must-see venue for tourists!!
