I have been here several times and while the food has been hit and miss the service is great, the people are friendly and the pizza is always spot on. Plus they have really tasty soup. I have found mixing and matching with friends that a lot of dishes seem to rely on the same seasoning, but even so this is worth the stop. It does get loud though, so if that bothers you, might be worth sitting outside.

A group of 8 (ages 8 - 70) visited Saddle Rock recently for pizza, beer and Trivia Tuesday. Wow - apple and bacon on a pizza! Who knew? It's a must try. Great staff but really tough trivia questions. The only downside was visiting in 100 degree heat days before they were scheduled to get new AC installed.

Dinner here tonight. As always, great selection of craft beers, knowledgeable staff, great food and, quite possibly the best service in Wenatchee. The pizzas are good as are the salads. Service is quick, friendly, and accurate. If you go on Thursdays it can be crowded as there is a running club that comes in after running on the Apple Capital Loop Trail. Also a bit on the noisy side for normal conversation, but the food and service outweigh the background noise.

The restaurant we had planned to go to was closed so we just walked the street and decided to try the Saddlerock Pub & Brewery as neither of had been there before. The crowd was light that day so we had our choice of tables. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful when it can to selecting our beer (they have have many to choose from and something for every taste). The menu looked pretty good with a nice variety of what I would call typical pub food. We ordered pizza and I would say it is not typical. Maybe we were just hungry for pizza but that pizza was really good! A nice thin crust with toppings done perfectly. Vegetables were not overcooked and the sauce was not overwhelming. All in all the best we have had in some time. This restaurant is in an excellent location downtown, right across the street from the convention center and 1 block from the Coast Hotel. It is also located at one end of the bridge over the tracks to the waterfront so very convenient if you are out strolling or biking in the park. They also have some outside seating for the nice warm days we get in Wenatchee. The service was excellent and the price is modest.

We called ahead to this restaurant because we were visiting with a large group. We had no idea the seating area was so small and were told that our group of 26 would be "no problem". When we arrived we realized that our group would probably take up half the restaurant and there wasn't anywhere near enough room for us all. Half the group ended up leaving to eat elsewhere. Those of us who stayed ordered our food at the same time but were brought our food at all different times. Some calzones and salads we brought right a away, some 30 minutes later. They ran out of both chili and ground beef for nachos. Our drinks weren't filled very quickly and the pizza was just so-so. Overall the place was just okay.
