Close to Seattle, no lines, no vaping teenagers (yes, plenty of teenagers...but so far very courteous), super friendly mountain staff/"hosts", unbelievable great deal "Family Adventure" pass ($99 for one day for up to 8 people!!! found at SkiMart), reciprocal with Summit @ Snoqualmie (though hard to find info on blackout dates), pretty good lodge food on the restaurant side (didn't queue up for the self service side)...and, wait for it....the most spectacular views at the top of chair 2. In one panoramic, you can see Mt Hood, Mt Baker, Mt Rainer, Mt Stewart....(i've probably missed one).
Only downside, not many great overnight options. Some ok motels in town and a handful of "cabins" on the mountain road up that can get pricey. Suggestion, make friends with someone who lives in town!
