Last minute reservation during a holiday weekend was achievable since we needed to stay only one night. Other local motels wanted two night minimum, so was happy to have a room. The room was clean, showing some upgrades recently and the king size bed was very comfortable. Morning breakfast was just okay, not great and located in a very small room. We skipped breakfast and ate somewhere else.
We stayed here for one night. The first "nonsmoking" room they gave us reeked like it had been heavily smoked in. I requested a new room and that was OK except the hallway right outside our room did reek of cigarette smoke, like all the smokers left their "nonsmoking" rooms and went out into the hallway to smoke! The king mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. Nice, warm shower. The breakfast was OK (mostly noncooked offerings) but coffee was fairly bad. Staff was pleasant and the lobby was nice but hallway carpeting looked dirty, stained. We paid $80+ which wasn't too bad but we've stayed in nicer motels for less than $60.
