“A don't miss place”
Reviewed July 24, 2010

The Blue Rooster is one of a kind. We stopped there on May 28th, in between rain storms. The friendliest couple and the best breakfast panini we have ever eaten. It's great to visit a place where you get really good food and pleasant conversation. Wish we had one like it where we live. If your are through Waterville before 2 p.m., drop in and have a visit and a bite.

“The Blue Rooster is FIRST on my list of places to stop in Waterville.”
Reviewed December 16, 2009

The Blue Rooster offers an array of delectable FRESH baked goods, including dynamite artisan bread and a superb breakfast sandwich.

In addition, Bruce's coffee is absolutely the best I have ever had!

A cozy and homey atmosphere gives the visitor a warm feeling no matter what the season, but the warmth of the wood stove in the winter makes a person reluctant to leave the premises.

Max the cat is just as welcoming and gracious as the hosts, Bruce and Cathy. Whether you are making Waterville a destination or just passing through, the Blue Rooster is a MUST VISIT spot on your itinerary!

“You really MUST experience the Rooster”
Reviewed December 8, 2009

The Blue Rooster is an experience not to be missed. A bakery owned/operated by Bruce & Cathy Clark in a 100 yr old building . . .the sandwiches, coffe and homemade breads are amazing. Service is excellent and the atmosphere welcoming. Artwork changes frequently, Wi-fi available and MAX, the bakery cat, will wander through to check you out as you bask in the warmth of the woodstove.

“Excellent Artisan Bakery!”
Reviewed December 6, 2009

Whenever I visit Waterville I spend time in this cozy, friendly bakery. The coffee is excellent, and the cinnamon rolls are an absolute delicacy. Owner Cathy Clark is a gifted baker which is obvious when any of her goodies are sampled. She expecially has a knack for baking bread, as most of the Waterville residents are aware. Bruce Clark, Cathy's co-owner husband, keeps the coffee freshly made, and stokes the wood stove to keep everyone warm during the cold winter days in Waterville.

“Great scott, great scones”
Reviewed December 29, 2008

Great atmosphere in a small rural town. This place reminds me of the coffee places in Portland (only not so busy this time of year). It' good french press coffee, choices for sweets or breakfast pannini, fun decor and artwork on the walls, tables for hangin' out or to connect with Wi-Fi.
