Ambiance and food is great and upscale. This is great place to eat at for a nice dinner with your spouse/date, friends or other couples. The mezzami appetizer is good but a little big for 2 people but perfect for 4. The specials always have a fresh local fish option cooked wonderfully and the Fillet is very tasting. My hubby loves the wood oven pizzas too.
Something for everyone.

Brought the family in after a volleyball game. It was happy hour so we got just about everything on the menu. Pulled pork crostinis, smoked salmon crostinis, baby back ribs, garlic pork sausage over roasted vegetables, chicken satay,Mac and cheese,Caesar salad and more!! From $4-$8 and large enough to share. We ended up trying their dessert menu with homemade caramel ice cream, s'mores and Creme Brûlée. I would recommend a visit, next time we'll try pizza. The bill came to around $128 for 8 people.

The place was fairly new but needed better signage out front. We drove by a couple of times trying to find it. We are very glad we did finally locate the place as they have the best pizza, very thin crust but not over cooked. Very tasty and so much like the great pizza we had in New York city last year. They also had a great pepper salad and good soup.

We travelled all the way down south and were pleasantly surprised by the Hearth. The only challenge was to find it. Take the Washougal River Road to Main Street in what looks like an empty downtown with nothing but a couple of bars that your mother warned you about. When the street turns to brick, turn in front of the empty storefront, and you find the Hearth tucked in the back.

After a late departure we arrived in Washougal with less than an hour to eat before a major event. Luckily our server sprang into action, combined our drink and food orders, and got us our food in 20 minutes. As advertised they have wood oven pizza such as I remember from Italy and Germany. We had the bare bones Margherita with full basil leaves and a savory thin crust. Our dining companions loved the Smoked Salmon Crostini and the Gruyere Mac and Cheese.

Service express, food good! What's not to like?

Nice small cozy restaurant, but for the price, I expect good customer service. We had a group of us come in, owner knew weeks ahead. weren't acknowledged upon arrival, service very slow, owner couldn't pull himself away from cooking to meet, say hi, etc. Positive note: food and wine was good, but at these prices, good customer service should be included. Not here. So if CS is important to you, skip this place and go to Quizno's.
