“Robin Hood Inn - a must visit!”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

My husband and I make a day trip of just to visit, that's how good it is. We love the pub and always sit at the bar but the restaurant and outside seating are just as wonderful. Terrence the bar tender is excellent and the food is amazing. We recommend you get there just as they open as it gets busy fast, at least on Friday's and Saturdays when we've gone. Enjoy!! We're already making plans for our next visit and can't wait!!!

“funky place with tasty food”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

The Robin Hood Pub is one of only three places to eat in Union, WA (the others being the Alderbrook and 2 Margaritas). Funky character and a fun inexpensive place to eat with friends. Choosing to eat in the crowded boisterous bar rather than the adjacent more intimate restaurant, I ordered the Lemon Drop Prawns and a Caesar salad plus one of the local beers. The prawns were so good that I placed a second order. Casual dress is expected, although there were several gentlemen in the bar wearing suit coats and ties. No view of the Hood Canal or the Olympic Mountains. Restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

“Don't drive by!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

At first, when my husband and I drove by this restaurant, we were not interested. It was a simple rustic looking A-frame sitting awkwardly on the side of the road. But when we went back and walked in, we knew instantly that we would love the experience. We were right! We sat in the bar area. The restaurant was completely booked. It was so cozy and romantic, with rustic wood tables and a real "Robin Hood" feel, but there was also an upscale-ness to it. The menu was a dream and had things like elk, oyster shooters, prawns, and quail. To make the night even more adventurous, we had some absinthe, served the old fashioned way, with a sugar cube. The staff was all warm and friendly and the bar felt like it was filled with regulars. We even struck up conversation naturally with the couple next to us who had property there. It's been almost three years since we've been there and we talk about going back all the time. Don't drive by this funky A-frame cabin!!!

“Most Romantic Fantastic Restaurant Ever”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

My husband and I have celebrated Valentines Day and our wedding anniversary at The Robin Hood Restaurant in Union, WA every year for 20 years. Just when we think they can't make the food more delicious, they top themselves. The setting is charming and intimate, and the food is intoxicating. The staff go out of their way to make everything perfect for their guests. The owner takes a personal interest in your enjoyment. The restaurant has teamed up with High Water Farms (less than 5 miles from the restaurant) to grow all their organic produce for the whole year. They also have an awesome pub, a beautiful creekside garden patio for summer dining and some of the best local musical talent on the weekends. It's just dreamy. (they also rent sweet beachfront cabins for weekend getaways).

“Our Anniversary Tradition!”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Great little place tucked away in a picturesque woodsy setting. The dining room is very elegant but a little doily for our taste. We enjoy sitting in the recently remodeled Bar area with lots of history or the patio on a nice summer evening. The great food is worth the slightly higher prices. Remember, you're in Union Baby!
