I drove to the east side of the mountains on impulse and had been thinking of camping - however the rain was pounding harder there than in Seattle! I started calling around and was referred to the Methow Valley Suites.
My room has french doors leading onto a nice bit of lawn which leads into the local hills where deer roam. I could hear all the birds in the morning when I was wakened by the natural light of day.
Our breakfast began with homemade applesauce and was followed by local sausage, scrambled eggs and delicious crepes. The coffee just kept coming!
I hope to stay there again!
