Won this on priceline for $49.00.
Room was a decent size, but bed was not overly comfortable.
They have disney channel, which is a bonus (most hotels don't have it these days). Little kitchenette was handy. We stayed here for 2 nights.
Used the pool and it seemed dirty. The hot tub was emptied out and DISGUSTING black crud all over it. The next day it was working, but no way would we step foot in it.
Air conditioning worked well. Dominos pizza delivered quickly and it is cheap (5.99 for a medium pizza).
Location is fine for a quick overnighter stop while traveling on the I-5, but is sooooo far from anything in the way of restaurants and fast food.
Typical hotel breakfast. Waffles were good. Staff was friendly to us.
I might stay there again if traveling along that highway and needed an easy stop over spot.

This is a 2 star motel, no better. I booked on Priceline for $49 (parameters = 2.5 stars, Tumwater). With taxes and fees it was $62 and I suppose was worth about that. The breakfast buffet included cheap muffins, bagels, bread, 4 kinds of cereal, apples, bananas, orange juice, apple juice and horrible coffee. Room was reasonably clean but the bed was not comfortable (rock hard). Staff member did help us with a situation and a nearby pizza place (menu in motel room directory) delivered fantastic pizza very fast. The other guests were a bit scary and generally rude. Two of my three traveling companions got a urinary tract infection after swimming n the pool and the hot tub looked gross. All in all it was okay for one night. Probably wouldn’t stay there again though.

The clerk at the desk was unapologetic when she told us we only could have 2 rooms not the 3 that we had reserved well in advance. I showed her my confirmation numbers and she still would not give me the 3rd room. Our room was to be a non smoking room but it smelled like smoke. and we had to cram our group into 2 rooms since there was no alternative given.

One positive note was the clerk at the desk in the morning was very pleasant and expressed her sympathy for the error.....

We booked our room via the guesthouse web site on April 23 at 9:30 pm for a May 22nd stay. In early May I received my Visa statement and noticed that we had already been billed for the room. When I called the hotel to explain the problem, they said too bad, we are keeping your $135. They were not willing to acknowledge the booking problem let alone discuss any solutions.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! H

So we managed to book this hotel from a site that lets you bid the price. When we showed up the lobby was really nice with the sound of water trickling in the corner and the place looked very clean. We checked in and walked up to our room and noticed that the only part of the hotel they have kept up to date is the lobby. We were disappointed walking to our room when we noticed all the noise we could hear coming from the rooms and spilling into the hallway. In addition the 3rd floor hallway floor felt hollow and had well worn carpet. When we got in the room I was impressed that the room had a couch, microwave and fridge. Then we noticed the very tired bathroom with several cracks in the sink around the drain, the multiple strands of dirty hair hanging off the lamp shade which was illuminated by the light and a sad old VCR connected to the tube TV. Upon sitting on the bed, our breath was taken away by the rock hard response we received. This hotel has the amenities of a 1 star or 2 star but not anything more than a 2 star hotel. It best compares to a value priced Super 8 or a Motel 6.

This was our first experience at a hotel in the Guesthouse corporation, and we were impressed. We were walk-ins, since we left late in the afternoon going to Seattle and did not know how far we'd get. We actually got off the freeway following the sign for the Comfort Inn, but decided to try this place as it was a bit farther away from the freeway.

Check in was easy with a friendly clerk. The price was right - we got a king suite with kitchenette for about $70. The room was good sized and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, cutlery, glasses etc, and everything was very clean.

We were on the south side of the building and our room looked out onto some nice forested property. I could hear a little bit of freeway noise with the window open, but not very much. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of nice towels.

Breakfast was a deluxe continental with make-your-own waffles. They also had biscuits and sausage gravy, which was surprisingly good and as fresh and tasty as any breakfast specialty restaurant would serve :-)

We were quite pleased with our stay and will remember this place when we're again in this area.

We took our family here for a week-end stay because we had a swim meet at Evergreen College. It was about 10-15 minutes away from the college which was a bit farther than we liked. Staff was friendly. Easy check in and check out. Rooms were very, very large and included two queens and a pull out sofa which was awesome and included value for the price. We only needed one room instead of two. The TV was small, but the beds were sooooo comfortable and there was plenty of space for everyone. I was impressed at how well I slept because I usually toss and turn all night at hotels.

My only real compliant was the included breakfast buffet. It had great hours 6-10 AM on week-ends which was perfect for the swim meet since we had two sessions, but food, especially the healthy kind, ran out quickly. Coffee was gone and an hour and a half later, still gone. Bread, muffins, and bagels ran out. Fresh fruit was gone and not replenished. Hot chocolate packets gone. Cream gone. Waffles took forever to make because batter was extruded sooo slowly from container. Furthermore, there was never anyone at the desk directly across from the breakfast area to report this. By the time, we took one child to warm ups and came back two hours later to wake up other kids, breakfast was wiped out which left two very hungry, unhappy kids and two very un-caffeinated,unhappy parents. I suppose we could have made our own coffee in our room, but we were really pressed for time. However, the biscuits and gravy, while they were there, were good. Perhaps they were understaffed that week-end?

For the value (paid $60 a night on Priceline.com) and awesome beds, we would definitely stay again and again and again...
