This place is a true hidden gem. Room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Grounds were also impeccable and decorated for Halloween. Staff was very friendly, and the included breakfast was delicious. An extremely cozy weekend getaway. Highly recommend.

Let's start with not only were my dogs welcome, the room provided a sleep mat and a dog treat, as well as a small park like walking area. The bed and fluffy pillows were fantastic, made even better with nice quality sheets. The spacious room was absolutely adorable and the complimentary sweet potato waffles for breakfast were delicious. Clearly I could go on and on with the compliments. The best part of course was the wonderful friendly service. Can't wait for our next visit.

Our room was bigger than we expected, cute decor, and a very comfortable bed. There's a big hot tub, tucked away for privacy. The continental breakfast was delicious, with a lot of the area's history on the walls. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a very disappointing trip on the back road from Woodland Washington not realizing how bad the road would be, we were planning on camping at the camp ground, but driving that bad road, my husband became car sick and there was no way we were going to camp out. By just the grace of god we called and the sweet lady said she had one room left and would hold it for us. To our great pleasure we found a beautiful place to stay. We will not be camping next time we come to Trout Lake we will definitely be staying at Trout Lake Valley Inn. Thank you for making a terrible situation so much better.

My husband has been wanting to stay at this inn for several years, and we finally found ourselves in the area and made it happen! The management was very welcoming--answering any questions and offering suggestions on local activities. The whole property is done in a woodsy, cabin decor with nice touches of whimsy. While it sits on the main road, traffic is very light in this rural area. Plus, a lovely patch of timbered park sits between the road and motel. Our room was abslutely great: firm king bed with a welcoming teddy bear "bearing" mints, great linens, roomy bath, real glasses and coffee mugs, wine opener (GREATLY appreciated), a/c, plentiful seating. Right outside the rooms on the covered walkways are sets of cafe chairs and tables to sit a spell--or walk over to the little park area and sit under the big trees and listen to the water wheel in the creek. Continental breakfast area off the lobby is very cozy with lots of local history and interest on the walls. Host will make you a "sweet potato" Belgian waffle to order--it was delicious!! Lobby also has many local sweets for sale, made from the local blue huckleberries. We will definitely stay here again!! Have to go back to try the hot tub that we didn't have time to do this trip!
