What a wonderful place! We stayed in the English Tudor Suite and it was gorgeous. In the spring time it would be more incredible as the view to the East is of the orchards and to see them in bloom from this room's view window would be BREATHTAKING! Dining in "The Vine" was an amazing experience! We had the fondue dinner (you have to place your order for this 4 days in advance) and it was a fabulous treat! Can't wait to go back and try the main menu though as the lamb chops maed my mouth water! My only complaint is that the cost of the rooms may be a hinderance to staying longer and I really think to truly enjoy this play, you would have to stay more than just one night and that was that we were there! Next time I think we will take the less expensive suite so we can spend several days there!! I recommend this place HIGHLY!!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Cameo Heights. We decided to take a quick trip for a Saturday night after Thanksgiving. It was so nice that it's only about 20 minutes away from the Tri-Cities, but it feels like you're really "out-of-town." The rooms and facilities were immaculate. The jetted tub in the bathroom was awesome, and I can't think of anything I would have added to the room to make it better. The grounds are beautiful, even in the cold, and there is a wonderful view from the hot tub. We watched a movie in the very cool theater room, of which I am extremely jealous. We had dinner at The Vine, which was very good. To top it off, we had a pre-breakfast danish and coffee laid outside our door, which was so delicious, as was breakfast. We felt very comfortable the whole time thanks to the Fieldings hospitality! We will go back!

My husband and I took our "mini honeymoon" (2 days) here at Cameo Heights. The place is absolutely gorgeous! The road up to the mansion leaves you wondering if you are in the right place, but once you arrive, it is unmistakable how great the place is.

We booked the German suite. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the decor. Loved the large jet tub. Especially loved the loft and private balcony in this particular suite. And the rooms ARE soundproof (regardless of the "Poor" review). The maid was kind enough to give us a tour of the other suites--all of them equally lovely with their own unique points.

You have the choice of getting a "wake up call" which consists of a drink of your choice and a yummy danish delivered to your door. We never dined outside our room, but we had breakfast delivered to us in bed. It was delicious and well worth it. Also (for the honeymooners), my husband purchased the honeymoon special. When we arrived, we had a dozen roses, a good bottle, and an out of this world caramel apple. I would definately reccommend this.

There are several activities: You can go swimming (we didn't get the chance...it was too cold); there is a nice hot tub (great after dinner); they have a theater with several movies; even ping pong! It's actually just nice wandering around the place and walking around outside. Plus, Walla Walla isn't too far away if you want to get out.

The owners were very hospitable and obviously love and care about their place. I would definately recommend this bed and breakfast!

My husband and I spent three days at the mansion in July and cannot say enough wonderful things about it. Alan and Deanne made us feel pampered in every way. The rooms were beautiful, the food was excellent and the attention to detail in everything was exceptional. This is definitely on the top of our list of places we have stayed!

Cameo Heights Mansion is located in Touchet close to many of the wineries along route 12 which lead to the city of Walla Walla (20 miles or so away). It is about a 4 hour very scenic drive east of Portland . The rooms are themed and can be viewed on-line. They are a bit expensive for such a remote place, but beds are super comfortable and the Oceania tub comfortably holds 2. A small box of soaps/bath salts handmade by the owner is in each room and is also available for purchase. The Vine (in-house restaurant) holds 5 tables (appeared to be additional outside seating for nicer weather) and the chef works in an open kitchen visible to the diners. The food is fantastic and served piping hot. The meal was a highlight of our trip. An extensive list of Washington wines is available for purchase and a small corkage fee is charged for those who may have purchased some wine while doing tastings at one of the many local wineries/tasting rooms. A sort of pre-breakfast snack is brought to your room upon request and consists of an out of this world good pastry (warm), fresh juice and good coffee or tea. Breakfast was nice, not overfilling and attractively served. The outside pool with its small waterfall looked inviting but it was too chilly for swimming during our visit. The outdoor hot tub is kept at 102 and although the jets are barely noticeable (perhaps for noise abatement?), it was a lovely way to relax after dinner. Also available is an outside firepit with S'mores kits supplied by the Inn. There is also a very small exercise room consisting of a stairstepper type of machine, a recumbent bicycle and a few free weights. The lodging decor was not to our taste, especially the art work, but the place is kept spotless and is obviously well loved and cared for by the owners.

We stayed in the German room. Very nice, clean, as advertised. We never did figure out how to operate the TV. Recommend they leave a manual in the room. If you're there for a romantic stay you shouldn't be watching TV anyway...... The dinner was exceptional. Overall highly recommended. We'll go back just to stay in the Spanish room.
