Excellent service and good selection of food, including decent salads and prime rib. Wine list was also not bad with reasonable prices. In hotel restaurant and no travel involved. Friendly staff and clean and efficient.

It was nice to have a restaurant right in the motel. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. It was a modest continental breakfast, and they could have added more fresh fruit, some plain yogurt, natural grains, cottage cheese. But overall very clean and good.

La Quinta is a moderately priced hotel, so we weren't expecting much from its restaurant, but it was late, we'd been driving all day, and we were tired. So we walked across the hotel lobby and went in, planning to have just a salad and roll.
The menu looked really good so we decided to take a risk. We started with the Signature salad, and we were both pleased. A variety of types of lettuce, all crisp and cold, with shaved carrots, craisens, glazed walnuts and chunks of blue cheese and a balsamic vinegar dressing. It primed us for the main course.

I ordered chicken and mushroom fettuccini in a garlic cream sauce, and my husband ordered prawns in a light cream sauce. I was apprehensive, since often fettuccini sauces in moderate restaurants are heavy and gloppy. This one though was delightful. A light cream sauce that perfectly complimented the big chunks of chicken, the mushrooms, and the pearl onions.

Even though it was 8:30 p.m., (they close @ 9:00 p.m.) our server was upbeat, cheerful, and helpful.
