“Good value & ok food”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

Stopped in the downtown location for HH - Happy Hour - for 1st visit. The interior is a large space and can accommodate parties, bar area is nice and they were busy for a Thurs. evening (as to be expected). We contemplated sitting outside as the weather was nice but it's located on a busy street - so opted out. HH menu is decent and offers significant portions. I had the caesar salad/calamari and my friend had sliders/onion rings. The onion rings were the best item ordered and the calamari reminded me of the frozen fish sticks I used to make when I babysat neighbor kids growing up. Not the greatest description but that it's what I was thinking. The sliders needed cheese but for $5 - I can't complain. If I go back, I'd get the nachos - they looked v. good. For under $20 - two HH entrees and 2 drinks - No complaints there.

“Great Food”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

I enjoy all of the Harmon's venues. The downtown location has a real pub feel. The Hub is much more family oriented and has a bar with a smaller menu just downstairs.

“Harmon's in downtown Tacoma”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Harmon's is one of our favorite places to eat. Good menu and seasonal brews as well as old favorites for adults. Kids menu and some toys to borrow to keep kids amused while all the great food is being prepared.

“Great Food and Craft Brewed Beer in Tacoma”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

The food was really great and the beer is varied and, to put it mildly, outstanding. The hours of operation could be better. It was not open really late.

“Nothing Special”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Uninspired menu and atmosphere. Waitstaff did not seem to notice that all the drinks and food (for 2 diners) did not fit on the table for comfortable dining. I had the fish taco and a side salad. The salad and dressing were good, but the plate was too small. The cod in the fish taco was little greasy pieces of pan fried fish instead of a filet; there was too little cabbage and no flavor. The taco plate was heaped with tortilla chips (why?). The best part of the entre was the corn salsa, which would have been great, if it was spicy. I had to go and find the waitstaff to pay my bill--the place was not especially busy. Won't go back.
