I had the prime rib and it was done to perfection - very moist and tender with a great flavor. Loved their pea salad - very sweet with just the right amount of dressing. Service was a bit slow but we had a large group. Valet parking was very helpful. They have a beautiful view of Tacoma - was amazing to watch the sun set while we waited to be seated.

It was difficult to find a decent restaurant that cost less than 4 $$$$. The food here was good but not exceptional. I had a $37 rib eye which was okay, not fantastic. However, they do have a seafood sample on the appetizer menu that was superb and frankly, if I were to go to this establishment again, I would order than as my entrée. Cocktails were good and a good price. Valet parking is available, but we took a cab and had excellent service from the yellow cab company and that was not very expensive.

Thank Dianne L

If you like a typical steak & seafood place, this is a decent pick. The service was pleasant enough, though a little slow, which if you are out for a leisurely dinner, it's fine. The view is lovely and it was a treat to watch the weather roll in and out. Aside from the view, the ambiance is not particularly noteworthy. The smoked beef carpaccio was AMAZING, incredibly smooth and lightly smokey, and the grilled mustard toast points rounded it out perfectly. I wish I had skipped the entree and ordered 2 of the carpaccio. The halibut special was just ok, and honestly pretty dry. Overcooked. My cocktail was quite good and not too sweet, but overpriced ($12). The wine was awful; almost sent it back. The salad was a bit drowned in dressing, but edible. Overall, a $100 dinner (2 ppl) and I was rather underwhelmed. I'd go back simply for the carpaccio and a cocktail, but only at happy hour.

We stopped by for a dinner before heading to the airport to send our son off after the holidays. The waiter was very nice. Food lived up to our standards, which was very good. It was dark out so we enjoyed viewing the lights of Tacoma.

We asked a man at a tire store to recommend a good seafood restaurant in Tacoma and he hit a homerun! We were driving through and so we chose to eat on the patio since we were in jeans. But the service all started as we drove up and saw they have valet parking....oops to fancy for us. But the young man who approached our car was so warm and friendly we asked if he could bring us a menu to see and he ran to get them. We asked about valet parking and he clearly explained the parking under the restaurant and across the street. After parking on our way in he said and it is happy hour 3-6 p.m. check out the happy hour bar food. We sat on the pation, great view of the city and water and had some of the best bar food we have ever had. Oysters Rockafeller, perfectly done and the sampler of which the coconut shrimp were sweet juice and tender! What a great evening we had at Stanley and Seafort's, oh and the service was just as good once we were at our table. The couple next to us we struck up a conversation with were celebrating their 49th and the restaurant brought them a complimentary item from the appetizer menu. Can I stress again customer service from the front door on through the entire visit! Happy hour prices as well!
