The recent "remodel" of this park was an excellent idea. There are many beautiful trees to picnic under, paths to walk, the conservatory is interesting, and the spray park is great for kids. I'm lucky to have this park in my neighborhood.

The conservatory, the trees, the peacefulness, all come together. What great place in Tacoma. As Canadians who have never been to Tacoma, this was one of the nicest features of a recent visit to this end of Puget Sound.

This is a beautifully maintained city park, teeming with people on a weekend sunny day. You couldn't pay me to walk alone through it most of the time. This is a high crime neighborhood and as hard as the City works at making it safe for visitors there is still too much risk for me to bring my grandchildren. Sorry to be a party poop. You want to head to the Tacoma waterfront for miles of beautiful sidewalks, mini parks and restaurants or get yourselves to Pt Defiance Park complete with a wonderful zoo and Never Neverland for the kids.

Wright Park has been revamped many times over the years. I used to bring my kids when they were young; there is more for the little ones now. It is a grassy setting with ducks in a pond and a wonderful new water park. Good places to eat are nearby. It is a beautiful place to vist and don't forget the arboretum.

Wright Park is a delightful municipal park off 6th Street. It is a relaxed place to walk your four legged friends, bring the children or sit for a few minutes and enjoy the shade. Surrounding the park are coffee and sandwich shops. There is a great playground in the middle of the park that was filled with happy sounds of children playing. Get your shoes and get out there!
