Had to pay for parking, Staff was not very friendly. You were just left on you own to wonder around and find your way. Beautiful vehicles and the main room is very impressive. Just did not have a warm friendly feeling.

For the car lover, this place is fantastic - from the 1942 Ford, Plymouth, Chev to the perfect 1956 Chev convertible and the extensive Lincoln collection - too many to talk about. Four floors of automobile history in a world-class facility. Worth the trip; a must-see destination for any car buff.

The cars in this museum are like no others we have ever seen. They are all clean and restored to their original stature. They allowed us to take pictures but touching was not allowed. They were beautiful and brought back memories. A fun thing to see. Thank you to the LeMay family for sharing their vast collection. We will never forget it.

The beauty and inventiveness on display at the LeMay is immediately obvious. We spent at least two hours - with a 5-year-old in tow - and still didn't see everything. Sited between the Tacoma Dome and the Glass Museum, things are definitely looking up for downtown!

Harold LeMay is gone. His Widow and his legacy however, live on in the newest and certainly amongst the best car museums to be seen. The creme de la creme of the world's largest private collection is on display along with rotating collections such as the Bulgari and the EV-1 on loan from GM.
The ultra modern building reminds some of a giant, upside down boat which is MUCH larger inside than it appears from outside. Approximately twelve galleries on four floors house many more cars than I imagined could be housed there.
Since the displays are dynamic, plan to stop in often to see their latest offerings.
One of my favorite restaurants, Pacific Grill runs the Cafe there. Well done !
This museum represents herculean efforts of thousands of people and hundred of organizational entities to have made it happen. You'll love it !
