The sound is terrible...the place is cold. The seating is tight. I won't go back. There are to many venues to go there and be disappointed.

This festival is awesome! It is a bit pricey to get in to go shopping, but there is such a wide variety of vendors that it really is worth while! I go every year and I wouldn't miss it!

Had never been to the Tacoma Dome before, but we attended a concert there. It's a huge space, which made me worry about acoustics, but we were pleasantly surprised at how good the sound quality was. The bands were on a stage at one end, but the seating faces into the arena floor area, making you squirm in your seats and risk some neck strain to see the stage. It did have a couple of jumbo-tron screens which helped some, although they were at the stage end of the hall as well.

There were "ushers" outside directing attendees to entrances that didn't have long lines, which we appreciated; and the security and ticketing was efficient and fast. Kudos for that! The hall was surprisingly well ventilated and didn't get overheated, even with a huge crowd. Nice.

The big pain in the wallet is the ridiculous charge they get for parking: $25. That's a rip-off in my book. Private parking lots in the neighborhood are at least that much.

I've been for concerts and shows and always amazed at the size and space inside compared to what you think driving by and seeing it from the freeway. Parking is good and there are lots of good places to eat close by after your show if you want to wait out the traffic rush.

The dome is a great building. The seats are pretty comfortable, bathrooms and drinking fountains, etc are handy. It's all great....except the parking! Even paying to park is a hike, so the hubby always parks somewhere free. Because it's on a steep hillside, there's no free option that doesn't include a leg aching hill climb. They need a shuttle or something to bring us old folks to the building!
