“Perfect venue for a wedding!”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

This is a wonderful venue for a wedding! The entire building is just beautiful, and easily accommodates 200 people, both for the ceremony and the meal afterwards. Beautiful opportunities for photos. The only downside is that the bathrooms are on the lower level, and that made it hard on our older guests.

“Very helpful staff.”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

I was in town visiting from Colorado, and was using the public transportation to travel. The young man not only set me up with an Orca card, but he explained how to read the rather confusing bus schedule as well as which bus to take to Seattle. Even though it was close to closing, this guy went above and beyond and welcomed me to Tacoma. Thanks to him I did not get lost once!

“Larger train station”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

We took Amtrak from PDX to Tacoma and back. Tacoma station has good amount of seating and some vending machines, although one was out of order.

“Interesting architecture and art work”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

We went to Union Station after we went to the Glass Museum. They had art work from the Glass Museum at Union Station. Union Station is now a courthouse. We just stepped in the door without intending to go all the way in. The security guard was very pleasant and polite and encouraged us to walk in further to look around. Great restoration. Wonderful historic building.

“Glass Art on Exhibit”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

Union Station was closed when we were there, but we peeked in the windows to get a view of the glass art inside. It was very beautiful and worth the small detour from the Glass Museum and Chihully Bridge (be sure to look up when you are in the "tunnel" to the bridge.
