“Calm and Delicious”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

Met a friend after work. Tried several food items and wines. No disappointments. Crab cake sliders a delight. Almost all crab--just barely enough filler to hold it together. Soooo good. Fish tacos a favorite too. Reasonable prices. Attentive but not smothering service. A definite +++ on my list.

“Cozy wine bar”
Reviewed September 25, 2013 via mobile

The owner is delightful and has been there for 14 years. For a wine bar the selection was not a wow. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Recommend it for a happy hour date, girls wine night, or after work stop for a glass of wine or beer with other professionals.

“Cafe Divino in Old Town Tacoma”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

This is a small cafe in the adorable Old Tacoma neighborhood. We were the only guests on a recent rainy afternoon. It was our good fortune that they had clam chowder on this Saturday. It was the finest of our entire trip to Washington.

My partner had the pulled pork sandwich which was yummy. I followed my soup with the crab sandwich on focacio bread. It was baked with some creamy cheese and served hot. This was over the top good, but really rich. I would suggest splitting that one.

I had a nice glass of chardonnay to go with my meal also.

The gentleman working that day took good care of us and even suggested a scenic drive for us to take to our next destination.

Please try this when you are in the area, you will not be sorry !!!

“Great Food and fun location”
Reviewed August 26, 2012

First time coming here and would definitely come again. The day was beautiful, so we sat outside at one of the small cafe tables. The food was great, from crab cake appetizers to our salmon entree and spinach salad with warm apple cider dressing. All these were made in-house, except for the chocolate cake we had for dessert (pretty good, too). We got there at 5:30 and there was quite a bit of car traffic as this location is a major street for commuters getting from downtown Tacoma to the north end. But let up around 6. The cafe is across from a nice, small little park where you can go and look out over the water. Beautiful view. Service was very good, even though there was only one server. Took care of every diners needs very promptly. We checked out the interior before we left and, while small, it looked very nice. Nice selection of wines on the wall, so this would be a great place to go to enjoy some wine with friends. All in all, would highly recommend it.

“Cute little place”
Reviewed September 29, 2011

Tasty dishes, great wine list. TINY restaurant.
We were there early (4pm) and it wasn't busy at all but service was SLOW. The woman who waited on us spent a great deal of time chatting with regulars while we were ignored. Food was good though.
