“Good food; wonderful views”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

This restaurant is located right on the water's edge with a great deck with lovely views. My son loved the chicken wings there and insisted we go there three nights in a row; I must confess that by the third night I was a little tired of the food. The restaurant provides a solid if a little unimaginative menu (steaks, ribs, hamburgers, chicken, etc). Portions are enormous. The ribs were particularly good.

“Not our usual good experience”
Reviewed August 28, 2013

We used to live in Tacoma and generally eat at the Ram when we visit, about once every year because we generally find the food very good and prices reasonable. On our recent visit I ordered a rib eye steak. It was very tough and fatty. My spouse's grilled salmon was excellent, so I asked to have the steak replaced with the salmon. The server and manager were very cooperative in handling this and apologized for the steak not being acceptable. However, the bill was rather messed up, so they had to re-do it. Somehow in the process, they added the drinks back in when before that they had comped them.

“NIGHT OUT”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

We decided to eat there on a rainy night, therefore, we were able to be seated within 15 minutes. My husband thought the fish was great and my burger was one of the best I had ever tasted.

“Good food, bad service”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

When we first arrived, we were told there was a 20 minute wait to eat inside, longer to eat on the deck, so we chose inside because we had children with us. Twenty minutes came and went. We were finally told there was a party of 25 that had been there an hour, seated separately, and they were trying to seat them together. (They didn't bother to tell us this when we first checked in.) Then I overheard that they were seating people who came in after us on the deck. We were waiting right in front of them and they didn't bother to tell us tables were free on the deck. At any given time, there were 3 hostess at the front desk pretty much doing nothing. There were actually empty tables inside, but they weren't seating people there. They finally seated us on the deck when we asked why we weren't being seated. The food was good, the waitress was friendly but then when we were waiting to pay (after having been there more than 90 minutes) the waitress gave us the bill, then disappeared for at least 10 minutes. We finally had to go find her.
