We recently had a hospitality suite at the Murano. What was really outstanding was the staff. They are truly top notch. They had our event set up early, the food was really good, they cleaned up after us and packed our things for us. They were very friendly and eager to help us.
We are a group of labor folks, and the Murano is the only union hotel in Pierce County. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone, but to labor groups in particular because of their outstanding level of service.

although my first experience at hotel murano was a case of "the service doesn't match the drapes", my friend kevin always said to try everything twice...so i returned to hotel murano.

the check-in that was before ho-hum, was hot-hot-hot. the girls working the front desk at 11:30pm who greeted us had the art of personalizing service down. i instantly felt like the rockstar i wanted to be because of the way my arrival was handled. LOVE.

after a quick costume change, we went downstairs to get a cab to the club...instead of a cab waiting (as we had asked for) we found a stretch limo. seriously? yes. seriously. thanks murano! LOVE.

got back from the club and needed foodage. the front desk couldn't find a pizza place that would deliver at 2am, but instead directed us to room service. after taking our order, we were told that they were a little busy and it could be about 30 minutes before our food arrived. and how long did we wait? 15 minutes. no joke. LOVE.

less than 10 hours from check-in to check-out. but every time i encountered a staff member at hotel murano, my expectations were exceeded.

Stayed at the Murano for a recent conference at the Tacoma Convention Center and frankly wasn't expecting much for the Tacoma area. BUT, was very impressed with the decor, location, staff, service and views of the room. The food was exceptional (lobster corn dogs and the grilled pork chop were awesome). It's almost as if a hotel from L.A. dropped in Tacoma. It's hip and decorated with beautiful glass work. Wish I could have spent more time there. And, the price is very reasonable for what you get. Very good value. If you must stay in Tacoma,, this is the place to go. No disappointment. My only gripe is $9.95 per day for wireless...most high end hotels offer this for free now. And, $15 per day at the hotel for parking is a bit much for the Tacoma area.

Best bed I have slept in recently. Concierge was very knowledgable and friendly. Great stay. Only drawback, I forgot my toothpaste and the toothbrush/paste set in the "basket" was $15! Most hotels will bring you those items complimentary.

The rooms were perfect--large, with comfortable beds, flat-screen TV, modern decor and up-dates in the bathroom. The security for entering guest room areas operated efficiently. The lobby staff, housekeeping, restauant staff, and bell-hops well all friendly and helpful. They definitely catered to the needs and requests of the guests. If I had one complaint, it would be that the portion sizes served in the restaurant were too large! The food, by the way, was expertly prepared and served.
