Where do I start ? When I checked in, they had numerous drivers license photos of locals pasted on the office wall, with a hand written sign that said "Do not rent to these people". That was a wakeup call. The dayshift manager was surly and unfriendly. She bristled with annoyance when I asked a couple of questions about the rooms.
A motley crew of locals was checking in at the same time. Hardcore druggie types with prison tattoos. I recognize prison tattoos because I have put people in prison. I should have just said forget it right then and there. The room was old and decrepit and smelled bad.
I had reserved the room for 3 nights, but needless to say I stayed the one night and left in the morning. I then went to the Best Western in Puyallup, which is nice and clean, and no ex-cons anywhere in sight.More
