“Downhome Cooking (& Baking) - YUM!”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

We recently moved and do we ever miss the consistently great food and service at Berryland! An institution on Main Street in Sumner, WA - this family owned and operated restaurant is always a treat! Try the homemade biscuits, strawberry shortcake, pies (huge pieces, easily shared - but you might not want to!!), and delicious dinner rolls. As you pay your tab, be certain to take home some freshly baked cookies - you'll be glad you did!!

“Great sandwiches, great pie!”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

We got a recommendation from a local business owner to go to Berryland Cafe for lunch, and "be sure to have some pie". It's down-home comfort food for lunch. We ate a late lunch, and the cafe was still bustling with customers coming for a meal. My husband and I split the turkey club, so we could make sure save room for pie. The sandwich was good, and half was more than enough for each of us. He had the marionberry/rhubarb, and I had the marionberry pie, and they were both delicious. If you find yourself in downtown Sumner, make sure to have some pie at Berryland.

“Best Strawberry Rhubarb Pie”
Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

Went to Sumner for the strawberry/ rhubarb pie, since Sumner is the rhubarb capital, and was not disappointed.
The rest of the food on the menu looked outstanding.

“Great Breakfast”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

You know how to find a good breakfast place when
there is a waiting list out the door. Everything is home
made and great. We love their pancakes and omlettes.
And great coffee!

“Rhubarb Pie Lovers' Delight!”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

The Berryland Cafe is a small, family run restaurant located on the main street of Sumner. While they are especially noted for their pies, we found the food to be very good and the portions were enormous. There were four of us and two had the daily special of fish and a side. There was one of the largest assortments of sides we have ever seen and the side salad was huge. One person had a cup of soup and BLT and the fourth person had the veggie omelette. When asked if he wanted the whole order or half, he ordered the half and it filled the plate along with hashbrowns. This restaurant is small and very busy but we managed to get a table right away. The pies we had for dessert were outstanding--plain rhubarb, strawberry rhubarb, raspberry rhubarb, and Marion berry rhubarb and we each sampled each variety. The pies can also be purchased--either whole or by the piece for take-away. Highly recommend this restaurant; the service is excellent and the staff is very friendly.
