“Excellent Sunday Brunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 25, 2014

The Sunday brunch buffet was excellent. We felt like it was a pretty good value at $37.95 per adult. This includes unlimited champagne, mimosas, and even a bloody mary bar. This is cheaper than Salty's Sunday brunch, and I think Skamania's brunch is better food quality & better food offerings. There was a seafood section with crab legs, shrimp, mussels, ceviche, 3 kinds of caviar, smoked salmon, etc. The caving station included alder wood salmon, prime rib, & ham. The salmon & prim rib were both incredible & just melted in your mouth. There was also a build your own / cook to order omelet station with many choices for ingredients. There was also a waffle & french toast station. There was a cold salad bar & many other hot dishes like potatoes o'brien, bacon, sausages, chicken, flank steak, seafood newburg, veggies, salmon chowder, etc. The desserts were very good also. They had apple crisp, berry crisp, flan, crème brule, cheesecake, & many other desserts. Service was excellent. Very attentive & always ready to refill your champagne. We will be back!

“Christmas Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2014

We had Christmas dinner there and the selection for the buffet was excellent and the food wonderful. The service was not quite normal, but OK. See my review of the River Rock Lounge the next night under reviews for that Lounge. The Dinning Room is not cheap, but it is worth the price. The views from the dinning room are great.

“local resident goes for first time!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2014

my wife and I went to the Skamania lodge on valentines day, for what we thought would be a great experience.... we are residence of Skamania county for 25+ yrs. we decided to have dinner. the service was good but quality was not.. we sat next to the grill and when we got our food most of it was cold, the one hot plate we got the plate was way hotter then the food on it.. we were very disappointed...$100 dinner for two should have been at bear minimum warm... unfortunately we will NOT be going there again!

“YUM!”

Had the fish and chips plus the ham & cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both were exceptional and enough left over for another meal!

“Happy Hour Pricing was a Joy!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013

My friend drove me to the site simply to take in the View - it is worth it! We then saw the happy hour pricing and Varied menu and decided to eat. I am glad we did. The Bison Burger was a delight as were the sauteed Oregon Mushrooms with garlic & brandy! Another must is the "River Rock Fries" which are covered with white truffle oil, Parmesan cheese, & garlic.
