So on a recent trip to Spokane to see friends and taste wine my Wife and I stopped by this place in downtown Spokane. from the moment we stepped in until we left the service was great. With friendly smiles the staff agreed with our food choices and made sure that our experience was it was as good as it could be.

Apps: The flash fry calamari was pretty good, prob my fav thing of the meal. The blue cheese and bacon salad was very tasty, a bit heavy but i'm steeling the idea.

Mains: The food was ok... The duck was flavored well and cooked beautifully but a bit rubbery to eat. The calf liver was good, I would do that if you like liver. A nice iron flavor,

Drinks: Spicy Jalapeno lemonade - a bit to much but fun to try.

Overall good, and reasonable priced... if you have picky eaters in your party don't go, but if they are even a little adventures give it a try.

A weekend in Spokane with old friends from Portland, and that means dining adventures! Wild Sage was our first stop, an easy walk from the hotel. Pleasant surroundings, good waiter. We ordered their Yukon Potato Taquito's for the table, a starter they are famous for, and for good reason. Then Hubby and I split their seasonal salad, a celebration of the pea....pea shoots and fresh peas with arugula and asparagus, delish!
When was the last time you found calf's liver on a menu? Well, Wild Sage has it, with cheese grits (a weakness of ours), so we spit that in order to have room for their most amazing Coconut Cake for dessert. Our friends thoroughly enjoyed their dinner as well, goat cheese stuffed chicken breast for her and Idaho golden trout for him. All in all, a great dinner.

Arguably the best meal of our Pacific Northwest trip. The type of meal where you can't stop saying "wow" after every bite. Wonderful and friendly service to back it up. Fantastic cocktails at a reasonable price ($9). Delicious mini-popovers with ever changing flavored butters come with each meal.

I think we could have ordered anything off the menu and left happy. This restaurant could hold its own against many of the best restaurants in the country.

Tip - Get the tapas sampler to start out. Wonderful idea that more restaurants should emulate.

We are natives, but haven't lived there for decades. When we visit, the issue of where to eat is always a challenge. This restaurant is top rate. the preparation is imaginative and thoughtful. We were charmed. We met a friend and she agreed.

In Spokane for the Weekend, we headed for this restaurant Friday night. I chose from their alcohol free drink menu. A great virgin mojito..I usually suffer on a road trip as I Eat gluten free.
What a joy to see a gluten free menu. Others enjoyed the chefs special, do ask. Our waiter was visible and charming and the atmosphere conducive to to a nice visit with friends. Would return here in a heart beat when visiting Spokane. Also was impressed with the prices. Only wish I had room for dessert.
