We arrived at the Davenport to check in midday and had to go straight into convention seminars so it was easiest to plan to dine inhouse. There were friends from other organizations also staying at the Davenport so we all agreed to meet at 6:30 at the Safari Room. We were a party of 8 and were seated promptly. As we all chatted and caught up on our lives the wait staff was really patient. I had a nice size piece of salmon (slightly dry) with delicious vegetables. To the right of me was someone loving one of the flat bread pizzas and to the left the Crab Louis was determined to be "fabulous!" Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and our mini desserts (and they are mini!) were a really nice way the end the meal.

Enjoyed two breakfasts and one dinner....food was very good and memorable tasty.
Dinner had the cougar cheese dip -- Yummy! Entree was very tasty and plentiful. Prepared to perfection. Nice setting --- not too loud (Wednesday night)

Breakfast -- very good. Wonderful service --- Melinda is great at what she does. Make Your Own Omellette was splendid. Very plentiful. Toast and speciality jam was excellent but somewhat costly for my normal spending. $23 and 24 for breakfast.

Our party of three all had delicious lunches and so reasonably priced. Our breakfasts were delicious also though not inexpensive. Service is very good and we would definitely go back. Highly recommend lunch!

We initially went over to the safari room since we heard it had $6 lunches and we weren't that hungry so thought it would be perfect. It was REALLY good and the service was excellent. Went back that evening for Happy Hour, our drinks were delicious (Cherry Cheetah and A Pear in Thyme were our favorites) and the flat breads were excellent. Also got one of each shot glass dessert and they were wonderful. The drink prices were pricy ($11) for Spokane but at half price for happy hour that was decent. Next day lunch, split the cobb salad and got a hot cheese and garlic to spread on bread which was to die for. ALL the servers (and the bartender) were excellent, more than excellent, personality plus.

I want to go on record that the food was fine and our server was EXCELLENT. SOOO if you are NOT in a hurry, the Safari is a great place to eat.
But when our group of 8 arrived for our 7:30 reservation we were told that not only would we have to wait for our table, but that we would have to wait for a seat.... in the waiting area and they suggested we "go for a walk." When the eight of us (including 3 grandparents who were not interested in "going for a walk") crowded around a cafe table in the lobby of the hotel, we noticed many other groups being served drinks while they waited and no one approached us for the half hour we sat there. Really put a damper on our celebration.
