“Love their flat bread appetizers”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

This is a fun place to meet up with business partners. Service, drinks and food are above average besides being just plain delicious. They also advertise specials for lunch and dinner.

“Happy Hour!”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

If you go here for anything, at least go for their happy hour. It's every day from 4-6 (I think) and they have half-off all cocktails, great food prices, and wine/beer specials. The bar is very big, but it fills up quickly for happy hour. It's located in the Davenport Hotel and the decor is really beautiful. As the name suggests, it has an African theme--very pretty. I ordered the flat bread with goat cheese, roasted red peppers, and roasted cloves of garlic. It was very tasty and at a great price. The bartenders were very friendly and it's always fun to watch them make special drinks. Definitely worth a go by yourself or with a friend or two.

“Affordable Lunch & Dinner specials, but slow kitchen”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

$5 lunch and $15 3-course dinner specials seem to be permanent at the Davenport Tower. Entree choices are limited and the dessert is small for dinner - just a little sweet bite in a shot glass, but it's pretty affordable. Don't expect much healthy food on the menu without some special orders though. Everything seems to be laden with dressing or sauce. I suggest any dressing or sauce on the side with pretty much anything you order.

When tour groups are in town, they seem to fill up at dinner. Even though staying at the Davenport Tower just upstairs, they were full on several occasions and said there would be an equally long wait for room service because it was served from the same kitchen. We had a small baby so we didn't really want to leave the hotel, but were forced to because they couldn't handle the tickets quick enough in the kitchen to handle all of their tables efficiently.

“good variety, well prepared”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

Reasonable price for dinner but perhaps slightly expensive for breakfast. Still worth it because it is tasty and convenient. This is in the lobby of the tower building.
