The aebleskivers are wonderful, so are the crepes!
However, the goulash is 3 pounds of diced potatoes with only 1 egg scrambled into them. The potato to egg and meat ratio leaves you feeling dissatisfied.
The service was good. The noise was an acceptable level...you don't have to shout to be heard.

We fell upon this place while on a work trip. Try the Abilskever's, awesome, the potato pancakes were great.

This is THE place for breakfast in Spokane. Potato pancakes are the best I've ever had. Try the Scandinavian cake plate, you won't be disappointed.

We are a huge fan of the one in Pullman, which is favored by Wazzu and UI students, as well as locals. The food, including the fresh OJ, goulash and abelskivers are just as good at the Spokane one, but there is something different: the service! Whereas the service in Pullman is generally quick and pretty friendly, the times we have been in Spokane has been very much the opposite. Still, if you are craving one of their dishes and don't want to drive to Pullman, then this will do. Bon appetit!

I love this place!! I have been coming here for about 10 years but one thing I can say is that since the owners changed I really really miss the Raspberry jam! I would even pay for this option in the future.....it was that good!!! Otherwise, great place, great food, great service!!
