They have a very cheap lunch, with a heaping plates of food. If you're looking to get very full under $10, Ming Wah is the place. Pretty straight-forward, classic Chinese-American cuisine. Not fancy at all, but freshly prepared and tasty.

I have eaten in most of the other 20 or so Asian restaurants in the area.
This one is at the very bottom of the heap - both in quality of the food, and the quality of the service.

This is one of those 1950s style Chinese-American restaurants that no Asian would ever set foot in. They serve primarily deep fried bits of heavily breaded meat. Everything tastes the same. Sauces range from milk gravy which is liberally poured over many dishes to a fluorescent red glop with no identifiable flavor.

Staff pretends to not understand English.... Don't expect to have even the most basic request provided.

This is one of the rudest and most unfriendly restaurants in the region. Best to just avoid this one.

Very good food & good quantity in older building. That's O.K., because the food makes up for any atmosphere lacks.
You only need two separate dishes (egg fu young & steamed vegetables for under $17) from a la carte menu. We eat vegetarian style, so can only speak for that type of food.
Hot tea via small pots comes with meals, when requested.

Sure I've eaten here many times but that's no treat. The place is old and shows it. So if you want to dine in just don't look too closely. Take-out is where they really shine because their food is delicious, the prices can't be beat and you get to enjoy it in the comfort of your own home. My favorites include the special chow mein, almond chicken, beef and broccoli, Bar-B-Q pork (slices or Ends, yum!), anything Sizzling and just about any of their combination dinners. Only a few items are over $10 and they're worth it. I believe only one of the servers speaks English, outside of the menu, so don't expect clever banter. This family restaurant has been there forever and I hope they keep going forever!
