“Waaaay overhyped.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2013

Decided to sit outside since the inside seemed dingy. After sitting at a table for at least ten minutes in the hot sun (our table was one of the few sans umbrella) without any acknowledgment from the wait staff, we decided to go back inside. After about another five minutes, we were finally greeted. We ordered the pork soft tacos and the gemelli with marsala. Tacos were cold and nothing to write home about. The pasta was better. Waitresses looked unhappy to be there. Two of them were complaining about other customers right behind us. We won't be going back.

“this place sucks”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

Had brunch there Sunday - Taco salad had no meat and not even a tomato and very little dressing for over $8, waitress had a real attitude like we were lucky to get her poor service, soup was $6.50 and basically tomato water - Would never consider going back to this overhyped place.

“Worth a trip off I-90”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013

Decided to have lunch at the Elk while traveling through Spokane. The food was great! The Reuben had the best corned beef ever. The Cuban on a pretzel roll was also excellent. They do almost everything from scratch and it shows. Sides were also great!

“Fun and Yummy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

The Elk Public House was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Although the menu is limited - a good thing, really - the food is excellent. I particularly recommend one of the salads. There is also a good beer and wine selection. Reserve early so you can sit outside!
