We were in Spokane in May, during a busy weekend for the city and found ourselves on the street early Sunday morning looking for a place to have breakfast as the hotel restaurant was booked and had a two hour wait. We wandered around downtown looking for somewhere to eat without getting our car out until we came across another fellow walking. He gave us kind of vague directions to the Satellite Diner saying he had heard it was pretty good. When we walked up to it we had some trepidation as it looked like a saloon and a little on the "rough" side....but we went in and ordered breakfast. Turns out our timing was perfect because shortly after that, a line began forming at the door of people who obviously came there often. Breakfast was delicious and more than ample, and although it is small, crowded and a little "rustic" the choice was a great one.
