Great food made from great ingredients. The duck was wonderful. Service a little bit slow on busy nights. Highly recommended!

“Overpriced and ok food”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

We just stopped in as we were walking by. With Wine Bar in the name, they were awfully proud of their wine price-wise. The food was just ok, nothing that would want to make me come back on my next trip to Spokane. The food also seemed over priced for what you get compared to other downtown restaurants.

“great place!”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

A colleague and I were on a business trip to Spokane and used TA to choose a restaurant close to where we were at the time – so far, I’ve not been steered wrong! While formerly a vegetarian-only restaurant, Mizuna has now incorporated a “protein” menu as well, with beef, chicken, lamb, pork, and fish options all represented. While their wine list is more than adequate, the real fun is in their liquor selections and the wide variety of specialty brands and liqueurs available. The cocktails, wine, and food were all excellent, and the service was great as well. Mizuna prides itself on organic and local foods; with a changing menu and great downtown location, it’s a real winner!

“How did they do that?”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

When I dine at a quality restaurant, I want something creative and imaginative. Mizuna meets that test. As a vegetarian, I especially appreciate their creative approach to not only vegetable dishes but to tempeh. Several times now, I've had a dish so unusual and delicious that I've asked the staff for tips on how it was prepared, and have tried to teach myself to replicate the experience at home. On our last visit, a very busy Friday night, staff still managed to be friendly and attentive, and the dining experience was a very pleasant one.

“A Gem”

Who would have thought there was something this delightfully good in Spokane. Great wine list.
The vegetarian menu is outstanding but not to take away for the signature mains...great lamb.
