“Calm & beautiful”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

If you like beautiful flora in a serene setting Manito is great . This is another must see when we have out of town guests. This area & the surrounding area of homes is so interesting & an affordable way to entertain that our friends always appreciate & comment on Spokane & the variety of places we show them. Beautiful & relaxing as well.

“Very glad we visited”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

Stopped by this park on our visit to Spokane for the weekend. Very happy that we did. Was beautiful and a very nice walk. The different flower gardens and ponds were very nice. Park was well kept and I am sure it would be excellent during any season. Highly recommend.

“Man, A Neato Park”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

Visited Manito Park in mid-October after a breakfast at Frank's Diner. I figured it would be a good way to work off some of calories. Mid-October is not the prime time for viewing at Manito, but the English garden still had some flowers and the trees and hedges were nicely manicured. I also strolled through the green houses which were full of tropical and desert plants. Beyond the greenhouse are some specimen trees, many of which were displaying vibrant reds and oranges and yellows of fall. Overall, it was a delightful ambulation and a good way to spend an hour.

“Beautiful, the whole year”
Reviewed December 14, 2013

My family has visited Manito several times throughout the year. By far, our favorite is December. The greenhouse glows with holiday lights. My daughters love walking through and looking at all,of the displays. It does get a little busy, so be prepared for crowds. Definitely worth a visit anytime of the year.

The do not miss areas in this expansive park are the Conservatory and Japenese Gardens. Be sure to bring your camera.
